Who do I make my mortgage payment to?
For most loans (excluding HELOCs), your closing package will include a first payment coupon with instructions on where to send your initial mortgage payment.
If your loan is sold after closing, you will receive a “Hello Letter / Goodbye Letter.” This notice will clearly explain when your loan servicing is transferring and provide details on where and to whom you should send future payments.

What types of loan payment methods are acceptable?
We offer several convenient payment options:
- Check, Money Order, or Cashier’s Check
- ACH Transfer (electronic bank transfer)
- Wire Transfer
- Online Account Setup – Make one-time manual payments or enroll in automatic payments (AutoPay)

How do I make my Great North Bank mortgage payment?
If your loan payment is due to Great North Bank/GNB Mortgage, visit Great North Bank website www.greatnorthbank.com.
NEW Customers: Click on “Enroll for Online Banking” and complete process.
Upon enrollment, your mortgage account will become accessible via online banking.
Returning Customers: Click on “Online Banking Login”

How do I set up autopay online?
If your recurring payments are due to Great North Bank/GNB Mortgage you will need to enroll in Online Banking.
1- Enroll in Online Banking at www.greatnorthbank.com. Once enrolled, you can set up loan payments from an internal Great North Bank account OR an external account, set the amount and frequency.
**Note that HELOC loans cannot be set up to have a minimum payment set to auto debit, however a recurring ACH transfer can be set for a minimum payment due.**
One-Time ACH Transfer payment?
One-time ACH payment methods are typically used for single transactions, meaning you only owe GNB one payment. ACH transfer payments can be requested if you prefer not to set up an online banking account. To initiate this request, email our servicing team at servicing@gnbmtg.com. You will receive a DocuSign form that must be completed to proceed. To finalize your request, please email servicing@gnbmtg.com with either a voided check or a bank statement that includes your name and full account number.
Recurring-Time ACH Transfer payment?
Recurring ACH transfer payments can be requested if you prefer not to set up an online banking account. To initiate this request, email our servicing team at servicing@gnbmtg.com. With Great North Bank / GNB Mortgage, accessing your HELOC funds is simple and convenient. Here are your options:
1. Request Checks
You can request checks by emailing servicing@gnbmtg.com or calling our toll-free number: 844-688-4844.
2. ACH Transfer
Complete a one-time ACH transfer request to move funds directly. (See One-Time ACH Transfer Payment for details.)
3. Online Banking Transfers
Enroll in Online Banking and open a GNB checking or savings account if you don’t already have one. Once enrolled:
- Transfer funds from your HELOC to your GNB account.
- To move funds to an external account, link your GNB account to the external account and initiate the transfer.
